Khuram Shahzad is Research Associate and faculty member at the Institute
of Management Sciences Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. He received
an integrated 4-year degree in business administration after completing
BBA (2-years) and MBA by research (2-years) from the Institute of Management
Sciences Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. Currently pursuing his
admission in PhD. At La Trobe University Australia. Proposed Area of
Research for Ph.D. is “Experiential Marketing”.
His
major project at present is on “Development of Business Excellence
Model for manufacturing Sector of Pakistan.”This project is motivated
by the idea that overall excellence of business performance can be defined
and measured through various factors. This study investigates the various
types of measures that firms use to gauge business performance. The
influence of strategic quality initiatives on performance will be evaluated.
The ultimate objective is to clarify the definition of business excellence
that can be shared by academics and business leaders within the context
of Pakistan as well as to provide guidelines for achieving business
excellence status.
It is significant to note that this research is developed and will be
controlled by researchers from La Trobe University Australia and Bahauddin
Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. This research project will also
seek support from Pakistan Institute of Quality Control in carrying
out different awareness seminars and training workshops for implementing
proposed business excellence model in manufacturing sector of Pakistan.
His research is supported by funds from the Higher Education Commission
of Pakistan.
